A Very Busy Week,

As usual the kids have kept us pretty busy. Lori and I find ourselves running from each of their games. Lori has been a little more tired than usual due to all the running around plus the weather here has been pretty cold.

Lori has been having a pretty tough time this week due to the fact she has to retire on (March 31st). She has been working for the Community Colleges of Spokane for over 16 years so it is hard to leave this family. The folks at CCS have been so supportive to both Lori and our family. It is almost 2 years since Lori was diagnosed and since that time, the folks at CCS have donated over 2000 hours to Lori. These precious hours have allowed Lori to work as much as she could over the past two years. I personally cannot thank these people enough. I attribute Lori's healing on the ability to stay as normal as possible. Thank God for this blessing.

After filling out more paperwork that I have ever seen, we are now ready for Lori to retire and concentrate on her continued healing and her faith. Lori goes to her bible study group every Wednesday and it takes her a week to finish her lessons. This is pretty intense study and Lori has grown in her faith.

Ashton is now a West Valley Cheer Leader. She went to practices for two weeks at 6:30 every morning, so she was dedicated. She had a mock try out on Monday that Lori and I could attend. She then had the real deal on Tuesday night. Of course to make more drama she had a softball game that was 45 minutes from the school, so she had to rush over to the high school, change and put on her perma-grin.

Tony has been doing great in baseball. He turned a double play from second and they ended up 10 running this other team. He was pretty happy. He has also grown out of his shoes he is now wearing a size 10 so he is in the middle of his growth spurt.

I have been filling out more paperwork than I care to mention on Lori's retirement. We are thankful for our blessing and we feel the power of your prayers everyday.

God Bless.
