A very busy couple of weeks.

We are back from our Hawaiian 10 day cruise.  Everything went great but 10 days on a boat is a little too much.  We really enjoyed ourselves, the food was great, the service was great but at one point we were at sea for 5 days because we could not get off at the fanning islands because of bad weather.  This is the island that is 1200 miles south of Hawaii and it takes 2.5 sea days to get there.  We had a great time touring Kauai, Maui, Kona, Hilo and Honolulu. Lots of sun and fun.

Lori did pretty well.  I think all of the traveling and change in the weather ended up swelling up her feet pretty bad.  She had to rest quite a bit but she toured the islands with the rest of us.  We spent lots of family time together so overall the trip was a great success.

When we got home we all crashed for a day and a half.  We then celebrated Xmas on Monday. Now we have to take the Xmas stuff down (hopefully this weekend).  Right now we do not have any snow on the ground so to us it looks like a colder Hawaiian island.

It felt kind of strange being on the Beach in Honolulu on Xmas day.  It was 83 degrees and the sun was shinning.

In Kauai I did take a helicopter ride around the island.  This has got to be one of the most beautiful tours I have ever taken.  The scenery and vantage point was incredible. The tour lasted 50 minutes and it was a great thrill.  I would do it again in a heartbeat. Lori and the kids gave me this trip for Xmas so it was a great gift for sure.

We are now back into the groove of being back in Spokane.  I have been working since Tuesday so I have finally caught up on my email.  Ashton will be starting her volleyball practices on Sunday and Tony is going to be going to a baseball camp for 6 weeks at my college here.  Tony and I are taking the stats for our high school team tonight and we have two games a week for the next 6 weeks.

Lori and I are getting ready to make our trip back over to Seattle on Jan 10th.  We will retake CT scans to figure out our next plan of action so please keep Lori in your prayers.

We are blessed beyond words and are fortunate to have spent this family time together.  Thanks to everyone for their continued support and prayers.  We feel the power everyday.

God Bless.
