Another week has zoomed by.  Today I separated my journal entries for another year.  This feels strange and it reminds me that we are progressing into another year without Lori.  As I look back on the entries it makes me sad to know that these entries contain some heartache for our family over the past four years. It reminds me of our initial shock our Seattle trips and Lori's will to live and fight to survive against all odds. She was one in a million and I'm proud she choose me to share her life with.  This year Lori and I would be turning 45 and married for 24 years.  Lori and I always thought how cool it would be to celebrate our 25th, 30th and 50th anniversary together.  As I read the paper I always stop and read the 50th wedding anniversary write-ups and cringe as I'm reminded that I'm alone without the love of my life.  I miss her!

Ashton has been as busy as a bee.  She is running from her college classes to the elementary classroom and then onto work.  She seems to thrive on this activity but she is tired at night.  Her classroom observations have also been very informative for her.  She is learning about the salaries, politics, and funding levels for each school.  This is a great experience for her so she can evaluate the facts before she steps into the classroom for real.  Her and I talk about these issues which is a real eye opener for me since I never dealt with these issues as I was taking my ed classes. Her and I are still talking about her moving onto a 4 year and for now it looks like the University of Montana is the leader of the pack.  We will see what next year  brings.

Tony is still forgetting everything and leaving his stuff everywhere.  Absent minded would be a "nice" word for him lately.  He does not have a care in the world and is loving life.  I told him to enjoy this brief period in his life because things will be changing soon.  He is on his baseball conditioning full time after school and on Sunday's now so this should keep him busy.  I noticed he had some homework on the table this morning so he does do more than just carry his books around.

I have been busy with the girls and boys stats.  Three games last week and two this week.  Tonight I will be practicing the parent dance in our rival competition with my old high school "Medical Lake".  Since we are new to this league so we are having the Scrambled Egg event next Friday (Jan 26th).  Our theme is "Green Eggs and Ham" and the kids do some skits, the parents dance and we are judged by other schools to see who has better spirit. (Of Course we will win!).  It is a lot of fun.  I have two more basketball games on Friday and then I'm off to Pullman to see the Cougars play the Huskies on Saturday.  On Sunday I will be working on my Camaro and doing some gym supervising for our baseball players.   Lots to do but never too busy to think about Lori.  We all miss her deeply.

God Bless.
