Well not much time has passed since my last update but I need to get better and doing these every Wednesday.  This week we have finalized our trip to Cabo this summer.  We are leaving on July 28th and returning on Aug 4th.  We will be able to spend Lori's 2nd anniversary in Cabo so I know she will be there smiling in the sand with us.  My cousin Bridget and her family will be coming down and some other friends of ours here in Spokane are also looking into coming down.  If you are in the neighborhood stop by or make plans go come down and enjoy Cabo for the week.  The kids are excited to go and they deserve a vacation since I put them thru hell during our Xmas vacation and 69 hours of driving to Louisiana.

Ashton is feeling the load of her 19 hours of classes.  She is a trouper and doing her homework every night.  Today she had class and then she went to be in a "live" classroom with a friend of ours in the West Valley district.  One of her classes this quarter requires 40 hours of live observation, which I think is great for her second quarter of school.  When I went to college for teaching I did not get in the classroom until I was in my Senior year.  Ashton wants to teach 1-5 (No way for me!) and I know she will be great at it.  She will be observing some other classrooms at the junior and senior high too.

Tony has been hitting the conditioning for baseball pretty hard.  Last night he came home and was hurting everywhere.  They are running and lifting weights pretty hard.  We had a pretty bad snow/ice storm last night and it was Tony's first driving experience in this mess.  He did good but he said he drove 10 miles an hour home.  He is really excited about spending more time with his cousin Luke in Louisiana.  He is going to Cabo with his family and us in July so this should be fun.

I have been out of town with basketball stats lately.  We had games on Friday and Saturday of last week.  This week we had a home game on Tuesday and we have games on Friday and Saturday.  I'm hoping to get out of town and snowmobile at least one day this weekend but I'm not sure we will make it.  I moved my Camaro over to Joe's shop on Sunday.  We have everything torn down and ready for the Tunned Port Fuel injection.  I'm still waiting for more parts to come in but I'm getting excited about hearing it run.  Last night we decided to take out the heater core on my 68 camaro and it became a nightmare.  Joe spent 2 hours with me trying to get it out and we (he) finally did (My Hero!).   We are hoping to have this done in the next few weeks.  I'll take pictures of the engine (yea!) soon.  I am so thankful Joe lets me play on my stuff in his garage.  I feel like a little kid in a superstore of shop stuff.

I still feel myself being in a funk.  I miss Lori and everything we had planned for the kids and ourselves.  It is now almost 1.6 months of life without her physical presence and I'm angry, empty and alone to deal with the kids and everything Lori and I built together.  It sucks!

God Bless
