Another week and another year.  As you can well imagine new years eve is always depressing for us.  We remember the year we had without Lori and we know we are entering another year without her.  It Sucks!  On New Years eve I went over to a friends house and came home to be with Ashton at 11:30 because she was not feeling great.  Tony was spending time with his friend Amir and his family.  At 12 I called Tony and we wished each other a happy new year.  Ashton and I watched the ball drop (3 hours later of course than actual time).  We lit Lori's candles for both Tony and Ashton and I stayed up until they went out.  We then rested the next day and jumped back into action the day after.  We did get a bucket load of snow the other day but the winds have been very strong.  One day we will have 3 or 4 inches of snow and overnight the wind will blow and all the snow will be gone.  Our weather is supposed to turn cold this week.  We should be back into the single digits.

Ashton started classes last Wednesday and she is taking a heavy load of 19 credits.  She is ready to go and full of steam.  She has not been feeling well so she has not been back to work for a week.  She misses her friends at the Y and is looking forward to getting back into the swing of things.

Tony also started school last week and he has been throwing the baseball around to get ready for his season.  He has been going to the high school basketball games and he is enjoying his life.

I have started into basketball stats almost full time now.  I also took my Camaro over to Joe's and we are starting to put in the Fuel injection.  He points to what needs to be done and I get after it, of course he has to hold my hand a bunch too.  Joe is my hero!  He has every tool and the best "man" shop around.

We will be taking down the Xmas stuff this week.  It is funny how different it feels taking down the stuff.  It was much different when we used to enjoy this time with Lori.  We all miss her more than words can express.

God Bless,

Mark
